Kolkata, Jan 17: Citing the timid response in last year's deal, now Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) aimed at Rs 2,928 crore via the second tranche of its infrastructure bonds which has been began from Jan 17.
The second part of IDFC infrastructure bond will continue till Feb 4.
Earlier, IDFC Director S Venkatraghavan stated, "We have a total sanction of Rs 3,400 crore for this fiscal (2010-11) out of which we have already done Rs 480 crore through first issue in Sep 2010."
He also added, "Now, the second tranche is opening from Jan17 and if we find we haven't crossed the sanctioned limit we will do another round in Mar 2011."
Meanwhile, the company targeted to disburse around Rs 40,000 crore during the fiscal. Till Sep 2010, it has disbursed Rs 34,500 crore.
